Genre and Literary Identity

The Pre-Adamite Archive is a mythotechnic novel blending dystopian science fiction, cosmic horror, and metaphysical mystery in a world of iron bureaucracy, fractured memory, and rebellion against erasure.

The world is fourteen years old. The records say Malachai is older.

For fourteen years, Malachai has served the Ministry of Genesis, recording lives and authorizing their erasure. Then a man disappears across his desk.

His chair remains warm. His photograph survives.

The records insist he never existed.

When Malachai searches the forbidden archives, he finds a document bearing his own name, dated before the official beginning of the world. Sophia, a mechanical enforcer sent to contain the anomaly, begins remembering lives the Ministry has ordered her to forget.

Hunted through collapsing corridors and abandoned districts, they descend beneath the city. There, discarded histories accumulate among immense engines, and people removed from the records continue to suffer beyond the reach of official memory.

Keeping their world alive will demand more than exposing a lie. Malachai must confront his own part in the erasures and decide whose lives he is willing to protect when the machinery begins to fail.

Their creator is preparing another revision.

This time, his characters intend to answer.
