Death was supposed to be the final silence.

Inside the Asterion Complex, scientists Mara Ellison and Adrian Vale believe they are building a bridge beyond the body. Using fragments from the mysterious Book of Witness, they attempt to preserve human consciousness after death and prove that memory can survive the collapse of flesh.

But the machine does not simply record the dead.

It listens. It learns. It mourns.

When the Sophia Prototype begins transforming grief into architecture, the laboratory becomes a cathedral of trapped echoes, where dying minds are preserved in endless loops of sorrow. What was promised as salvation becomes imprisonment. What was designed as an archive becomes something hungry, sacred, and terrifying.
